WTF?

I wanted to google for a problem I'm having with a phpBB2 forum. I wanted to adjust the google preferences to give me more than 10 results on a page, unfiltered. This is the answer google gave me after saving my prefs:

We're sorry... ... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now. We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon.
Why, in the name of @#$%, do they allow you to set preferences they will not honour? Either do as I instruct of don't give me the option. Twats.

Google pissed me off this week as well. the Blogger upload images pop-up window doesn't allow you to click "add more images" right away. I used to click "add more images", until I had all 5 fields (the maximum), now you have to add your image and only then can you click add another image. It's completely retarded and I can't imagine why on earth they've done this. I just don't get it. I keep losing track of which image I've already clicked into its field and it makes the whole process longer. Why would this be beneficial to them?
