ikea overload

This afternoon Renate asked if I wanted to come with her to Ikea. I'd been thinking of going there for the last six years or so, since my sofas could collapse any minute. I had looked through the catalogue on the net, but of course you can't sit on a picture of a sofa, so a physical visit was necessary. After trying all the sofas I decided the EKTORP sofas and chairs are the most comfortable and are the ones to buy. I will probably get a 3-seat sofa and two chairs. This monumental decision making process took about 10 minutes.

Shopping with a woman, however, is a traumatic experience since we spent about three more hours looking at this, that and the other. Ikea overload... I did buy four tea towels, though.

I have tried the Ikea Swedish meatballs now and I must say they taste fine. I ordered the smallest portion they have and it was twice the amount I really wanted. They also sell it in 'normal' and 'large', which could probably feed a whole tribe of hungry Vikings.

Due to the Ikea brain overload there are no pictures; I only thought of taking them when I was safely outside again.

I hope the other 2 hours and 50 minutes didn't kill your feet.

The Swedish meatballs remind me more to this:
